Discovering Russia together

How we bring Russian learning to life

At our school in St. Petersburg, we believe that the best way to learn a language is to live it—and spring and summer in this city make that easier than ever.

For anyone dreaming of studying Russian in Russia or planning a trip to this fascinating country, St. Petersburg in the warm season is simply magical. And for our international students—arriving from South Korea, the UK, Switzerland, Germany, and beyond—this is exactly where their journey into the Russian language truly begins: not only in the classroom, but out in the city itself.

This spring and summer, we’ve been filling our activity calendar with unforgettable outings that blend cultural discovery with real-life language practice.

Our first outdoor adventure this year took students to one of St. Petersburg’s most iconic landmarks—St. Isaac’s Cathedral. We explored its remarkable architecture, uncovered fascinating facts about its centuries-long history, and, most importantly, practiced Russian in a real urban environment.

The highlight? Climbing up to the cathedral’s colonnade, where a breathtaking panorama of rooftops, canals, and sun-drenched avenues stretched out before us—and naturally, the views sparked some of our best conversations.

We also took to the water. A sunny boat tour along St. Petersburg’s legendary rivers and canals revealed yet another side of this extraordinary city. Picturesque embankments, elegant bridges, and the gentle river breeze created a truly summery atmosphere that felt uniquely Russian. Moments like these give students the chance to connect with one another, speak Russian casually and confidently, and fall a little more in love with the city they’re learning in.

These experiences are at the heart of what we do. When you come to Russia and immerse yourself in its culture, history, and everyday life, the language stops feeling foreign—it becomes part of you. That’s why our school organizes regular activities alongside our courses: because we know that the most memorable lessons happen outside the classroom.

If you’re ready to learn Russian in one of the world’s most beautiful cities, we’d love to welcome you. Come for the language—stay for the White Nights, the canals, and the community. 🌸
