This Museum is memorial. It is located in the Peter and Paul Fortress, in rooms of the Ioannovsky ravelin. Exposition of the museum includes documents, samples of food and rocketry, space suits and even the original of the Union-16 spaceship lander. Annually, on Cosmonautics Day, which takes place on April, 12, there is a huge celebration with participation of famous astronauts in the museum.
