Nature walks: Russians, especially those who live in the countryside or in small towns, actively spend time in nature. This can be holidays at the dacha, walks in the forest, fishing or winter sports (skiing, snowboarding).
Travel and tourism: Many Russians like to travel, both within Russia and abroad. Domestic travel, such as visiting the Black Sea coast, Baikal, Kamchatka and other natural sites, is particularly popular.
Internet and Technology: The use of the Internet has been growing in recent years, as it has around the world. Social networks, online games, video content on YouTube and streaming services have become an important part of leisure time for many Russians, especially young people.
Traditions and religious practices
Russians actively celebrate various national holidays, such as New Year, Christmas, Maslenitsa, and Victory Day. Religious practices also occupy an important place in the lives of Russians, especially in Orthodox families. Celebrating religious holidays, attending church, and observing traditions are important to many.
The lifestyle of Russians can be characterised as quite rich and multifaceted, combining workdays with active recreation, interest in culture and health. Despite the diversity in habits and hobbies, Russians value family traditions, nature and culture of their country, which is reflected in their everyday life.
