The long-term course is for those students who have a clear goal to reach a certain level of Russian by a set date. Students who want to study for 12 weeks and more choose Long-Term Russian Course. Living in Saint Petersburg for a longer period allows immersing into local life and learning more about Russian culture and traditions. Long-term studies will be the most useful for all Russian university enrollees who need to reach the appropriate level of Russian before the studies start.
The practice
The course is structured according to the needs of long-term students. The most attention is paid to the ability to speak in various real life situations. All new grammar and vocabulary items are practiced in meaningful context through communicative tasks. Communicative approach implemented by the teachers allows covering all areas of practical Russian during the lessons: speaking, reading, writing and listening.
