The exam is conducted in written and oral forms. The written part includes test tasks with multiple-choice answers or requiring a word/phrase to be filled in. The oral part (speaking) involves a conversation or participation in dialogues, which may be recorded. Some writing tasks may also require independent text composition, such as a complaint or a letter.
The total duration of the RVP exam can be up to 130 minutes or no more than 90 minutes, depending on the source.
